With twelve new episodes, “Babylon Berlin” will continue in autumn. The ARD promises a reunion with many well-known actors.

The high-gloss series “Babylon Berlin” will also start the new season this year in the “Tatort” slot on Sunday evenings. ARD announced on Wednesday in Munich that it would start on October 1st at 8:15 p.m. on the first. Two episodes each will then be shown on October 3rd and 4th around 10 p.m. The fourth season can be accessed in the media library from September 29th. Seasons one through three will be posted online a few weeks in advance.

The fourth season “Babylon Berlin” is based on Volker Kutscher’s novel “Goldstein”. “Twelve new episodes promise a reunion with many well-known characters,” said the ARD announcement. “At her side we experience grandiose show fights in the boxing clubs of the underworld, sweaty dance marathons in the Moka Efti and the catacombs of the Red Castle, the police headquarters where all the threads come together.”
