Fourteen supporters arrested near the Vélodrome

This Tuesday, fourteen people were arrested near the Vélodrome stadium, on the sidelines of the match between Marseille and Frankfurt in the Champions League, 20 Minutes Marseille learned from the Bouches-du-Rhône police headquarters. More specifically, three individuals were arrested for possession of smoke bombs, three others for throwing projectiles, another three for violence against persons in public authority, two for using lasers, two for intentional violence and finally one for having introduced a knife in the stadium.

During the match, three law enforcement officers were injured. A German supporter was also injured by a smoke bomb in the stands and taken to hospital.
