Sex shops have a dingy image. It’s no wonder that many people find it difficult to talk about masturbation, according to four young Munich women – and are planning a store that the city has never seen before.
Lisa Saumweber and Daniela Zwicklbauer stand in front of a sex shop in downtown Munich. In the shop window, dolls in lingerie pose next to vibrators, condom boxes and high heels in rainbow colors. Behind it, red curtains prevent you from seeing the inside of the shop from the street. If you want to know what it looks like behind the curtains, you have to go inside first. Daniela Zwicklbauer says: “Not exactly inviting.”
