The 7th Guest VR

Vertigo Games are delighted to announce that the hit ’90s crime thriller, The 7th Guest, is being brought back to life using state-of-the-art PS VR2 technology. The 7th Guest VR is a remake of the original game and story, with all-new puzzles, new rooms to explore, and new gameplay possibilities: 3D live-action graphics via spooky volumetric video capture. We filmed our actors in a circular array surrounded by cameras to capture their every move from every direction. These characters can then be seen from different perspectives during the game. Volumetric video recordings and exquisite performances help tell a compelling and immersive story.

PS VR2 amplifies this experience even further. Eye-tracking allows you to delve into the intricate details of the puzzles by focusing your eyes on specific parts and areas within the rooms, while the PS VR2 Sense controller’s adaptive triggers make each item tangible; PS VR2 headset feedback conveys the characters’ eerie presence as their stories unfold before your eyes. In addition, thanks to the improved dynamic lighting and the higher resolution of the volumetric video, you dive even deeper into the spooky atmosphere.

Coming to PS VR2 later this year, The 7th Guest VR is perfect for fans of mystery puzzle games and anyone looking for a new immersive VR experience.
