That night, the four men implicated allegedly forced their victim into a car before beating her and threatening her with death. A few days earlier, the same victim had already been targeted by the same individuals in Saint-Grégoire, a town north of Rennes. The victim and one of his friends had been victims of stab wounds and screwdrivers. The two young men had gone to the hospital on their own but had refused to file a complaint.
In addition to the facts of kidnapping and kidnapping, the four defendants, three of whom were already known to the judiciary, were also indicted for violence, participation in a criminal association and extortion in an organized gang. “The judicial information should make it possible in particular to specify the context of the facts”, adds the public prosecutor Philippe Astruc.
