Four people from the same family were killed in a serious car accident in Yvelines on the night of Friday to Saturday, December 23, after being hit by a young man who lost control of his vehicle. The accident occurred on departmental road 307 near Bailly, a town located a few kilometers from Versailles.
The driver crashed into two cars
According to the gendarmerie, a 20-year-old driver of a Peugeot 206 lost control of his vehicle, crossing the dividing rail and colliding head-on with cars arriving in the opposite direction. He first hit a Renault Espace containing members of the same family, namely the parents, aged 62 and 71, and their two children, aged 32 and 34. These four people died.

Emergency services intervened between 12:30 a.m. and 5:20 a.m. using four ambulances, a nursing vehicle, two road emergency vehicles and a fire van. The gendarmerie, municipal police and the mobile emergency and resuscitation service (Smur) were also mobilized to the scene of the accident
