They claimed to be “L’Action Française” and deployed a banner slaying the Islamo-leftists. The violent instruction that occurred on March 25, 2021 in
the regional hotel of Toulouse, while the elected officials of Occitania were meeting in plenary session, will soon experience its judicial end.
Dominique Alzéari, the public prosecutor of Toulouse, announced this Friday that four of the nine intruders – who made outrageous remarks, in particular against President Carole Delga (PS), and jostled security agents – had been identified and taken into police custody during the investigation.
I strongly condemn the attempted violent intrusion by far-right activists which has just occurred at the Regional Council @Occitanie. I will of course file a complaint.
Facing the far right, I repeat: I will not let go and I will not give in to any pressure. pic.twitter.com/a2KoX0wzrp– Carole Delga (@CaroleDelga) March 25, 2021
Among these four suspects, far-right activists, is an elected official whose name is not revealed by the magistrate. But it is only a matter of time since the four defendants, after having made use of their right to silence during the procedure, will be tried on December 10, 2021 before the Toulouse Criminal Court. They will have to answer “for insults to persons holding public authority and for willful violence not having resulted in ITT committed in meetings on persons charged with a public service mission”.
