“Paxos overpaid BTC network fees on September 10, 2023. This only affected Paxos corporate operations, with Paxos customers and users not affected. And all customer funds are safe.”
A Paxos spokesperson added that the transaction was the result of “One transfer error. [ที่] It has been resolved,” but did not provide further details. But many have pointed out that this may be due to a bug in Bitcoin wallets rather than in the Bitcoin blockchain itself.
