Forty candidates compete in Saint-Tropez for Beatrice’s brother

It would perhaps be more than Denis Brogniart on the famous Place des Lices in Saint-Tropez, to believe in the famous game of TF1. From Friday, no less than 38 former adventurers from Koh-Lanta, all seasons combined, met for a charity event in the famous Var town, at the call of Béatrice, emblematic candidate of the War of the Chiefs edition.

On the program: competition, of course, but no massive weight loss in sight for Alexandra (Les 4 Terres), Moussa (Island of heroes) or Loïc (Les 4 Terres). This time, the sentence will be irrevocable for those incapable of diamonds who fail the pétanque tournament organized between adventurers this Friday from 6 p.m. The next day, the adventurers will face each other in a rally with the air of a treasure hunt, to discover the birthplace of Béatrice, before a meeting and photoshoots in the village.

Prostheses for his brother

All in order to raise funds for Béatrice’s older brother, disabled, for whom she had already participated in Koh Lanta in 2020. “My brother had his leg amputated after a motorcycle accident,” recalls Béatrice. When he woke up he was very positive. And he said to me: “Little sister, now it’s your turn to make my dreams come true. Koh Lanta, participate in the Paralympic Games and meet Kylian Mbappé “. And since then that’s what I do.”

After having brilliantly dabbled in the poles, Béatrice took on the challenge of offering her brother leg prostheses to enable him to become an accomplished athlete. A beautiful project which however has a certain cost. “For this to be possible, we would need two or three,” she explains. And each costs 26,000 euros! The young woman had launched an online pot just before confinement … before suspending it. “A lot of people were tragically affected by the Covid, and I did not feel comfortable, I felt that it was not really the time,” she explains.

“” Koh-Lanta “is a big family”

It is finally on the encouragement of these former comrades of Koh Lanta, to which she remained very close, that she decided to relaunch this initiative. “I am very touched to see that the adventurers have responded,” says Béatrice. I am very happy to be able to make them discover my city, to introduce them to my brother, and to do activities with them. Koh Lanta, it’s a big family. They will make Instagram stories during the event and encourage donations with the kitty link. “

And failing to have celebrated her thirtieth birthday as it should, last January, Covid obliges, Béatrice intends to make up for lost time with the former candidates … and all those who would like to party with them. “Tell people that on Saturday night, we’re at Café Flora, at the Toison d’Or, and that they can book if they want to see us!” “
