Fortnite: Cross-over campaign with avatar announced

The long-running favorite Fortnite awaits you with the next collaboration this week, because Avatar: The Last Airbender makes the jump to the island.

The Fire Nation is officially coming to the island in Fortnite! A new cross-over with “Avatar: The Last Airbender” has now been announced for the title and will be part of the ongoing Season 2 of Chapter 5 later this week.

What can you expect? Three members of the main gang in the series – namely Katara, Toph and Zuko – will be available as outfits and therefore as playable characters in the Fortnite Item Shop starting tomorrow, Tuesday. Epic Games officially announced the skins via the social media service X.

A short teaser video shows Katara and some scenes with Zuko and Toph. The tweet does not mention an Aang skin – although seen in the video – as part of the shop’s offering, but leakers had speculated that this skin could also be coming to the island as part of an event pass. The three other outfits will each be available for 2,000 V-Bucks.

The fact that a cross-over with Avatar: The Last Airbender is imminent doesn’t come as a complete surprise. Corresponding leaks and speculations were already circulating at the end of February.
