“Fort Boyard” will not be broadcast on Saturday but this Thursday on France 2

This week, in view of the athletics championships which begin this Friday, France 2 is moving Fort Boyard from Saturday to Thursday, always at 9:10 p.m. This Thursday, the game, presented by Olivier Minne since 2003, will welcome a new team of personalities. Sylvie Tellier, a regular on the show with nine participations, will join this fortification of Charente-Maritime in the company of Théo Curin, Amandine Petit, Marie-Ange Nardi, Cédric Doumbé and Yanis Marshall.

Together, they will play for the benefit of the association Les Bonnes Fées and will try as always to steal part of Father Fouras’ treasure. Which will lead them to cross paths with the characters from the Fort present to protect this hoard, namely Passe-Partout, Passe Muraille, Passe-Oussakas, Sheriff Willy Rovelli, Blanche, Rouge and the Boo family.

Priority to athletics

If “Fort Boyard” changes its habits, it is because France Télévisions offers to follow the world athletics championships which open this weekend. This 19th edition will take place from Saturday August 19 to Sunday August 27, in Budapest, Hungary.

France 2 and France 3 will pass the baton throughout the day to broadcast this sporting event. In the comments, will follow Alexandre Pasteur, Benoît Durand, Nelson Monfort, Stéphane Diagana and Maryse Ewanjé-Epée, former international high jump champion.

It remains to be seen whether the audience of “Fort Boyard” will be impacted by this programming in the middle of the week. Last Saturday, the show attracted 2.14 million viewers (13.8% of PDA and 44.2% of 4-12 year olds), i.e. the third step of the podium behind Murders in Berry on France 3, and the France-Scotland rugby match on TF1.
