World Champion Max Verstappen has secured pole position for the Formula 1 finale in Abu Dhabi. The Red Bull driver relegated teammate Sergio Perez to second place on the brightly lit Yas Marina Circuit.
World Champion Max Verstappen has secured pole position for the Formula 1 finale in Abu Dhabi. The Red Bull driver relegated teammate Sergio Perez to second place on the brightly lit Yas Marina Circuit.
For Verstappen it was the seventh pole position of the year. Third in qualifying was Charles Leclerc in the Ferrari. Aston Martin driver Sebastian Vettel managed to finish ninth on his last race for a starting position. The 35-year-old ends his career after the Grand Prix on Sunday (2 p.m. / Sky).
