Pop singer Aaron Carter celebrated his greatest success early on, when he was still a child. Later he stumbled and couldn’t get back on track. He has now died at the age of 34.

US pop singer Aaron Carter is dead. He died at the age of 34 in Lancaster, north of Los Angeles, his agent said, citing Carter’s mother. When asked, police confirmed an operation at Carter’s home in Lancaster, but gave no details.

Carter was the younger brother of Nick Carter, a member of the “Backstreet Boys”. Aaron was a big hit in the late 1990s when he was just a kid with hits like “Crush On You” and “Aaron’s Party.” Since then, he has repeatedly attempted a comeback, largely unsuccessfully. As part of a world tour, he also made a stop in Germany in 2015.

Dispute up to the ban on contact

Most recently, the world-famous former teenage star was talking about bad news. The two brothers Nick and Aaron quarreled publicly and made serious allegations. In 2019, Nick claimed his younger brother made threats against the family. Aaron was also at odds with his twin sister Angel – after all, Nick and Angel applied for a ban on contact.

Aaron Carter has often spoken publicly about his drug past. Around three years ago, he said he took several medications to manage his mental health issues. Carter also positioned himself politically and declared in 2016 that he wanted to vote for Donald Trump in the US presidential election.

The singer’s first child was born almost a year ago. A week after the birth, Carter separated from his mother, his then fiancée Melanie Martin.
