For the J-100, an XXL dictation organized on the Champ-de-Mars

“Citius, Altius, Fortius”, or in French in the text “Plus vite, plus haute, plus fort”. It is from this Olympic motto that the three authors, Agnès Martin-Lugand, David Foenkinos and Marc Lévy were inspired to write the three texts of the giant dictation of the Games. Organized this Friday on the Champ-de-Mars in Paris, it welcomed some 3,000 people, installed in this open-air classroom.

It will be broadcast on France 5 on Wednesday, on the occasion of D-100 of the opening ceremony. 20 minutes took part in one of the sessions and did particularly well: only two mistakes. “Exuder” and “crocs-en-jambe” got the better of our impeccable spelling. But Augustin Trapenard, both host and participant, presenter of La Grande Librairie on France 5, also stuck several times to the text written by Agnès Martin-Lugand, author of the bestseller Happy people read and drink coffee. “The most important thing at the Olympic Games is not to win but to participate,” professed Baron Pierre de Coubertin. But without fail, it’s still better.
