For regional league games: Türkgücü knocks at SC Fürstenfeldbruck – Fürstenfeldbruck

After bankruptcy, forced relegation and a long search, Türkgücü Munich could finally have found a stadium for the Bavarian regional league. The club must have a suitable venue in order to be able to hold at least this league. Discussions are currently taking place with those responsible at SC Fürstenfeldbruck, who are open to making the stadium on Klosterstrasse available. This is confirmed by Jakob Ettner, president of the sports club. There has already been contact with the managing director of the Munich team, further agreements are to follow in the course of the week. “If there is an opportunity, we will welcome Türkgücü,” said Ettner. There is great interest on both sides. “We are in good spirits that it will happen.”

The Brucker Stadium offers enough capacity with 5000 seats, however, according to league regulations, a guest block is necessary, which is currently not available. However, according to the president of the district league, this could be built behind the guest bench. That had already been discussed when a similar request was made to the Brucker association. At that time, the regional league club SV Pullach also wanted to play in the SC stadium. Thus, an expansion would be a prerequisite for the conclusion of the possible agreement. “The city currently does not consider the stadium to be suitable for regional leagues,” says Michael Maurer, who is responsible for sports in the city of Fürstenfeldbruck. The city has not yet received any inquiries.

Ettner explains that SC Fürstenfeldbruck and Türkgücü Munich could pay for the costs incurred. The city is unlikely to participate.
