For Jean-Yves Le Drian, the PS has “withdrawn from the competition”

He is no longer the pilot of the left ”. “There are others, environmentalists, rebellious France,” he said, concluding that the PS “has withdrawn in a certain way from the competition”.

“A lot of courage” to Hidalgo

“I consider that social democracy has found in the initiatives of Emmanuel Macron a certain credibility, a certain strength”, explained the minister. “I think we need to build up a global political force with all the support for Emmanuel Macron in a democratic, popular, European party,” he said. “There is En Marche, there is Modem, Agir, Territoires de Progrès of which I am a member,” he added, citing the various components of the majority.
