A young 26-year-old driver was driving his small city car quietly on Sunday evening in the Compans-Caffarelli sector, in Toulouse, when he was violently attacked by strangers. He was stopped at a red light and was looking in the direction of four men who were in front of the entrance to a hotel, when the latter apparently did not appreciate their exchange of glances.
They then rushed to the young man’s vehicle, and one of them, armed with a baseball bat, smashed the vehicle and injured its owner in the arm. The latter, locked himself in his car and managed to call the police. Upon their arrival, the police were able to see that the windows of the city car were broken and the bodywork dented.
At the same time, a man was leaving the hotel and his victim immediately named her to the police as the main perpetrator of the blows. Arrested, the 21-year-old young man, already known to the police for violence, was placed in police custody. His acolytes are still wanted.
