Football, transfer ticker: Bayern star agrees with Manchester United

Bayern Munich defender Benjamin Pavard has reportedly agreed verbally with Manchester United about a move this summer. As the “Daily Mirror” wrote on Monday without citing a source, the traditional English club has informed FC Bayern of its intention to sign the Frenchman. Pavard is said to be tipped to replace former captain Harry Maguire, 30, who has been linked with West Ham United.

According to the “Daily Mail”, however, Manchester was rebuffed with a first offer for Pavard at Bayern. There is talk of a fee of 30 million euros for the national soccer player and world champion of 2018, who can be used both inside and outside in defence.
