Modern whirlpools combine several functions in just one device: They warm, care and massage your feet. This should make them equally suitable for pedicures as they are for relaxation and pain relief. This is made possible thanks to the integrated rollers, rollers or knobs in the footbed, which, in combination with the adjustable water temperature and the bubble function, equate to a massage. The targeted stimulation of the reflex zones is also intended to promote blood circulation, but a foot whirlpool is not a medical device. Rather, it is about the relaxing wellness factor.

These are the most important purchase criteria

Depending on the manufacturer, comes a Foot bath with different functions therefore. For this reason, you should think in advance which properties the device must meet: Whether vibration and bubble massage, heat function, light stimulation or magnetic field therapy – you can choose between different settings. And these are not all criteria to be considered:

  • There are electrically operated massage functions, but also manual ones.
  • Non-slip rubber feet ensure that your bubble bath is secure.
  • The wattage determines how hot the water can get.
  • People with stately feet should consider the size of the footbath.
