A couple was filmed in the US state of Florida illegally dropping a dog and eleven puppies in front of a shelter in cold blood and simply running away. Now the police are looking for the woman and the man. You can see the heartless action in the video.

Police: puppies were left to die

Walton Couty police announced on Facebook on Tuesday that the woman and the man are facing charges. “The unloading of animals is illegal, they can be prosecuted,” it says there. The couple dumped the dogs in front of the closed door of an animal shelter, leaving them to die. Employees only saw the animals by chance after hours and alerted the police.

The video shows how the wanted couple drives in a Ford F-150 pickup in front of the animal shelter. First the woman gets out accompanied by a black dog, then a man follows her with a large box in his hands. While the woman is looking at a pile of donations, the man puts the box with eleven puppies in front of the door. Then they get into the car and dash off without the dogs. The four-legged friend looked afterwards motionless and completely alone.

The couple should have informed the shelter

The woman and the man should have warned the staff of the shelter by phone, the police said, according to the “New York Times” on Wednesday. Then the employees could have prepared a place in the animal shelter and collected important information about the dogs. Now the officials are asking the population for clues in order to find the couple.
