A five-year-old child was found seriously injured in the street in Choisy-le-Roi (Val-de-Marne). A man who told the police that he “killed” him is in police custody, assured the Créteil prosecutor’s office, confirming information from the Parisian.
The child was found Thursday evening by passers-by “with his head in a plastic bag”, showing “marks of strangulation and blows”, according to the public prosecutor. He is hospitalized and his life prognosis is in jeopardy.
Placed in an artificial coma
According to police sources, the child suffered sexual violence and was placed in an artificial coma. Late Friday afternoon, a 29-year-old man presented himself to the police station, claiming that he had “killed a child”, and told the police where to find the body.
At the same time, “applicants (alerted) the emergency services” after discovering the child, still alive. The investigation was entrusted to the Paris juvenile brigade.
