Fishermen pull giant octopuses to the surface of the water

Fishermen on a boat off Vancouver Island in Canada probably didn’t expect this catch.

A giant octopus is clinging to this crab trap. The fishermen pull him to the surface of the water – and are surprised.

Canadian photographer Brook Sirah’s video went viral. It’s been viewed more than 40 million times in a matter of days.

The octopus The animal then let go of the net and disappeared, Brook writes under some user inquiries.

The octopus is the giant Pacific octopus. This species differs from others simply because of its size. Adult octopuses can weigh up to 40 kilograms.
