Crazy day and party day in Soldier Hollow! At the end of a completely crazy race with suspense maintained right down to the very last bibs, it was France who reigned on the Utah track with the first success of Eric Perrot, author of one of the rare 10/ 10 in shooting. The Blues even signed the double with Emilien Jacquelin, 2nd (+ 3”9) despite two penalty laps. Setting out to play for the win, Quentin Fillon Maillet forgot to take his penalty lap and received a two-minute penalty, finishing 31st.
