The “The Crown” finale also revolves around the love between William and Kate. A transparent dress is said to have served as a catalyst.
Only six more episodes until the Netflix series “The Crown” reaches its finale. The first half of season six has already been released, and the streaming service is now making us excited for the second part with brand new pictures. One of the published photos is particularly noticeable: It shows “The Crown” newcomer Meg Bellamy (21), who is the young version of Princess Kate (41) plays on a catwalk in a transparent dress.
While the creators of the series have been repeatedly accused in the past of not taking reality too seriously, that is not the case with this aspect. In fact, in 2002, the current princess walked the catwalk in this daring outfit at a charity fashion show at St. Andrews University, where Kate and Prince William (41) met and eventually fell in love.
A picture from back then that the “Mirror” published in an article shows the fidelity of “The Crown”. The dress from back then was also transparent below the chest area, allowing a lot of skin to be seen as well as the black underwear. Apparently with a lasting impression: The then 19-year-old Prince William is said to have attended the event in the front row and fell head over heels in love with Kate Middleton. In 2011, the iconic dress according to “Mirror” supposedly auctioned for the incredible sum of almost 90,000 euros.

In the final episodes, which will be shown from December 14th, actor Ed McVey will take on the role of Prince William instead of Rufus Kampa. Meanwhile, Luther Ford takes on the role of William’s brother Prince Harry (39).

On the occasion of her Golden Jubilee, the Queen (Imelda Staunton, 67) is rethinking the future of the monarchy. Also seen in season six is the wedding of Charles (Dominic West, 54) and Camilla (Olivia Williams, 55) and the new love of William and Kate.
