FC Bayern and Borussia Dortmund are weak, but “Vizekusen” leads the table. The Bundesliga season didn’t just deliver surprises at the top end of the table.
The first half of the 2023/24 Bundesliga season is almost over and has a few surprises in store – both at the top of the table and in midfield and the relegation zone.
Because many clubs have fallen short of their own expectations: FC Bayern Munich, for example, but especially Borussia Dortmund and Union Berlin. However, Bayer 04 Leverkusen, VfB Stuttgart and 1. FC Heidenheim are a positive surprise. In this respect, there is currently more tension in the Bundesliga than in previous years. Will the clubs confirm their respective records in the second half of the season? We won’t know that until the end of May 2024. So things will remain exciting in the 2023/24 Bundesliga season. Maybe even so much that a club other than FC Bayern Munich wins the championship again. Most fans would probably be happy.
