Fiorentina boss rages after Vlahovic sale: “His agents are liars”

Fiorentina gets 75 million euros for Dusan Vlahovic, but the club boss is not at all satisfied with the course of the negotiations.
Fiorentina boss Rocco Commisso has expressed his disappointment with the behavior of Dusan Vlahovic and his advisors. The Serie A club had sold the striker to Juventus Turin for 75 million euros this week.
“His advisors were not honest, they are liars,” raged the US club boss in an audio clip that appeared on the Fiorentina website.

Commisso would have preferred to sell the Serb to English clubs rather than a Serie A club for even more money, but the Vlahovic side declined, much to the club boss’s displeasure. “It was then clear that he already had a deal up his sleeve. He said no to every offer. I often flew to England, but he said no every time,” Commisso said.
“Vlahovic wanted to stay until his contract expires in 2023 and ruin Fiorentina,” he added. “They all wanted to make money at our expense, so it was an excellent operation for us to sell him now,” Commisso clarified his view of things.
