Finland: President sees “huge majority” in favor of joining NATO – Politics

Finnish President Sauli Niinistö expects a parliamentary mandate for his country’s possible application for NATO membership. Speaking to German journalists in Helsinki, Niinistö said he reckoned there would be a “huge parliamentary majority” for such a membership application.
