Courses in all conceivable subject areas, also with an interdisciplinary orientation, certificate courses, day seminars, language courses, e-learning: The number of different types of further training and learning formats also reflects the interest of employees in acquiring additional specialist knowledge: Six out of ten adults started in the previous year have taken part in at least one further training course, according to the recently published Adult Education Survey (AES trend report) by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF). A large proportion of them, every second specialist, has acquired new knowledge using digital media. Because many courses planned in classroom format were held online last year due to the crisis.
