The biggest problem with subwoofers is often accompanied by the constellation. So far, the Sonos Sub has had to be used for all room sizes, but with its lavish dimensions it was simply too big for many rooms. Sonos now promises a remedy with the Sub Mini.
In its housing, with a height of just 30 centimeters and a diameter of just 23 centimetres, the Sub Mini promises to find space even in the smallest student digs. He is supported by a structure that we already know from the big brother Sonos Sub.
The two drivers sit opposite each other in the housing. This balances their forces, which should lead to less vibration and a cleaner sound. We already know this force-cancelling technology from other subwoofers like this KEF KC62.
Even more sound through Trueplay
Of course, the Sonos Sub Mini can be fully controlled with the Sonos app. The integration takes place either by a single keystroke or via NFC. Once connected to your Sonos system, you can use the small subwoofer with anyone Sonos speakers associate.
For the best possible sound, Sonos has also integrated the Sub Mini into the in-house calibration tool Trueplay. The subwoofer can be adjusted to your room using your iPad or iPhone. A very practical tool, as it is the room for the sound of your home cinema or your Hifi almost as important as your system itself.

Sonos Sub Mini: Ideal partner for Sonos Beam
As usual with Sonos, you can connect the Sonos Sub Mini to almost all Sonos speakers. According to Sonos, however, the sub is particularly suitable for a combination with the middle soundbar Sonos Beam. Alternatively, you can also use your stereo set of two Sonos One provide more bass. Incidentally, the subwoofer connects particularly stably to the Sonos soundbars via 5 GHz.

The Sonos Sub Mini subwoofer will be available from October 6, 2022 in two matt color versions, black and white. The RRP for Germany is 499 euros. This puts it on a par with the Sonos Beam in terms of price. A lot of money for a subwoofer, but still $350 cheaper than the Sonos Sub.
