Camera off on the holiday island: Two new episodes of the popular “Usedom crime thriller” with Katrin Sass are being created for ARD. The series is a long-running hit. The first episode was filmed ten years ago.

“The Usedom Crime” on ARD with Katrin Sass in the lead role is celebrating its anniversary: ​​it began ten years ago, in February 2014 Filming for the first episode entitled “Mörderhus”. Since then, up to three TV films about former prosecutor Karin Lossow have been made every year, a spokeswoman said on Tuesday. Around six million viewers watch each time. According to NDR, filming for two new episodes has now begun.

In addition to Katrin Sass, Rikke Lylloff (Ellen Norgaard) and Till Firit (Commissioner Rainer Witt) will be in front of the camera until April 11th for the two episodes with the working titles “Am Scheideweg” and “Emma”. Filming will take place in Wolgast, Swinemünde, Ahlbeck, Kamminke as well as in and around Berlin.

These are episodes 23 and 24 of the crime series, directed by Matthias Tiefenbacher. They are scheduled to air in the fall. Incidentally, filming is usually done in winter because of the melancholic atmosphere.
