Filming of the film “Their children after them” stopped after the death of an extra

The filming of the film “Their children after them”, the adaptation of the 2018 Goncourt Prize by Nicolas Mathieu, will not take place this Friday in Pierre-Percée (Meurthe-et-Moselle). The production team decided to postpone the next scenes until Monday after the death of an extra this morning.

The firefighters were called after an extra felt unwell. When they arrived, the victim had also suffered a cardiac arrest and they could only note his death. The man was 67 years old and came from the Vosges, according to L’Est Républicain.

The film is scheduled to hit theaters in fall 2024.
