At the Munich Film Festival 2022, she won the “New German Cinema” sponsorship award in the director and production categories, and a few days ago there were two nominations for the German Film Prize. Now Sophie Linnenbaum’s film world satire “The Ordinaries” is finally showing in German cinemas: the native of Nuremberg tells the story of a young woman who ekes out an existence as a supporting character in a film without dialogue and emotions, but dreams of a life as the main character.
Linnenbaum and her two producers, Britta Strampe and Laura Klippel, are coming to Munich on the day the cinema opens city cinema, where they will answer questions from the audience – and will be awarded the “VGF Young Producers Prize”. Then you can show emotions.
The OrdinariesD 2022, director: Sophie Linnenbaum, public premiere Thursday, March 30, 8 p.m., City, Sonnenstraße 12a
