Til Schweiger says he swore he would never play a Nazi. Now he does. It will be in a Guy Ritchie film.

Til Schweiger takes on the role of a Nazi for the first time in a new film. When asked about his next projects in 2024 and 2025, the 59-year-old told the German Press Agency: “The next film I can be seen in is the new Guy Ritchie film “The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare”, in which I play a Nazi for the first time, even though I swore I would never do that.” Schweiger added: “But with him I just couldn’t resist and it was great.” It is an action spy film.

Schweiger also said that he is currently developing two scripts at the same time. He couldn’t say when these would be finished.

Schweiger made the comments on the occasion of his new comedy “The best is yet to come!”, which opens in German cinemas this Thursday. It’s about two best friends and a fatal illness.
