Cate Blanchett attended the Venice Film Festival on Thursday evening. The actress appeared in a special floral look.

Cate Blanchett (53) appeared last Thursday for the premiere of her film “Tár”, which was shown on the second day of the Venice Film Festival. The Australian-American actress attracted everyone’s attention with her look. The 53-year-old wore a black velvet ensemble with a sleeveless corset top and wide-leg trousers. The top not only emphasized the narrow waist of the actress, but also became an eye-catcher with an artistic flower trimming on the décolleté.

Focus on floral design

Blanchett let her elegant look by Schiaparelli, complete with hand-painted flowers in orange, blue and white, speak for itself and dispensed with accessories apart from small glittery earrings and a gold ring. She styled her blonde bob in a side parting and in light waves. For makeup, she opted for some mascara, blush, and pink lipstick.

Blanchett plays the leading role of Lydia Tár in the film directed by Todd Field (58). The first female chief conductor of a large German orchestra has problems separating her professional and private life and her world is getting more and more out of joint. In addition to Blanchett, Nina Hoss (47), Noemie Merlant (33) and Sophie Kauer (21) can be seen.
