Film and album by The Streets: Walk of Shame as a daily commute – culture

Maybe Mike Skinner’s new project was similar to “Man, Mommy, we’re making a film”, the short film that the then 16-year-old Christoph Schlingensief made in 1977. The truly fantastic work, shot on Super 8, tells the story of a family man who falls in love with the idea of becoming a famous director. He mobilizes his annoyed relatives and they have to help him with the chaotic production. The film is finished, but then the projector explodes at the premiere – and everything was in vain.
