Figure skating – Presidium election without result – Sport

At the general meeting of the German Skating Union (DEU), the presidential election failed on Saturday. The three elected candidates Larissa Vetter, Andreas Wagner and Benjamin Blum did not accept the election, according to the DEU announcement. The election winners had declared in advance in Munich that they would only be available if their entire team was elected, which was not the case. Thus, the previous leadership around Dieter Hillebrand, who did not stand for election, remains in office. The election of a new executive committee was adjourned to the extraordinary general meeting on October 29th in Dortmund. Hillebrand has been in office since 2006.
