25,000 Gothic fans at M’era Luna in Hildesheim

According to the organizers, M’era Luna is the largest music festival of the so-called black scene in Germany.
Darkly made-up and darkly costumed gothic fans from Germany and abroad gathered on Saturday for the partly rainy weather Festival M’era Luna on the airfield site in Hildesheim. 25,000 tickets had been sold in advance for the music festival, as a spokesman for the organizer of FKP Scorpio said. About 40 bands from different genres from medieval rock to alternative, gothic to electro were announced.
The Finnish love metal pioneer Ville Valo (VV) and the Dutch gothic metal band Within Temptation with singer Sharon den Adel were announced as stars. In addition to music, the program included workshops, readings, fashion shows and a medieval market. The festival lasts until Sunday evening.
