FC Schalke: Run on S04 jersey without Gazprom lettering – online shop overloaded

Already at the weekend Schalke played without the advertising lettering of their main sponsor. The fans seem to like it: they want the shirt.
The FC Schalke 04 special jersey without the Gazprom sponsor logo is in great demand among the fans. The Gelsenkirchen online shop was temporarily unavailable on Monday morning.
“Due to the high demand for the special jersey, the online shop is currently reaching its limits. We ask for your patience,” the club said in the morning.
Schalke ends cooperation with Gazprom
After Russia’s attack on Ukraine, the Royal Blues did not have the Gazprom lettering on their jerseys during their away game in Karlsruhe on Saturday (1-1). The special jersey with the lettering “Schalke 04” instead of the sponsor’s logo was sold in limited quantities in the club’s online shop.
Schalke also officially announced on Monday the premature end of the partnership with Gazprom famous. A new partner is to be presented promptly, the statement said.
