Munich wins at home against Mainz. And how! Leipzig also wins. There is no winner in the Rhenish derby, but there is in Augsburg.

With a resounding win, FC Bayern are now behind the Bundesliga leaders Bayer 04 Leverkusen initially reduced to seven points. The defending champion won the home game against relegation-threatened FSV Mainz 05 with 8:1 (3:1) on Saturday. For their part, the Leverkusen football professionals can extend their lead back to ten points with a win this Sunday at the end of the 25th matchday at home against VfL Wolfsburg.

FC Bayern with a landslide victory

RB Leipzig initially pushed past Borussia Dortmund with a 2-0 (1-0) home win against bottom-placed SV Darmstadt 98. But BVB can make up for the two-point deficit this Saturday, starting at 6:30 p.m Game at SV Werder Bremen.

In a thrilling Rhenish derby, 1. FC Köln missed out on a win despite leading twice, but saved at least one point with a 3-3 (1-1) draw against Borussia Mönchengladbach. FC Augsburg consolidated its calming midfield position with a 1-0 (1-0) at home against promoted team 1. FC Heidenheim.
