FC Bayern starts preparing for the new season. But by no means all the players who are present at the start on Thursday or who join later should still be on board when the Bundesliga starts in mid-August. There are numerous exit rumors. Among other things, an attacker who could join Werder Bremen.
While FC Bayern Munich is currently pushing ahead with the transfer of Harry Kane on the commitment side – with the outcome so far completely incalculable, a lot more is supposed to happen on the tax side.
As the “kicker” reports, the Bayern bosses have already informed Sadio Mané, who has long been considered a candidate for departure, that the record champions are planning without him. Means: Mané, who was only granted one year in Munich despite a contract until 2025, should make room on the payroll for possible newcomers like Kane.
Mané is currently said to earn 20 million euros, a large post that those responsible want to get rid of. In his twelve months with the series champion, Mané had not met expectations in sporting terms and had also had a much-noticed physical altercation with his colleague Leroy Sané. So far, there have been interested parties mainly from Saudi Arabia, to which some (old) stars recently moved. A “satisfactory transfer” could be achieved here. It is not yet known whether the Senegalese wants to stay in European football or go to the desert state.
In addition to Mané, Mathys Tel should also leave FC Bayern, but in a different way than the 31-year-old, namely only temporarily. According to “kicker”, the FCB bosses are considering loaning the highly talented 18-year-old Frenchman, who came from Rennes last summer for 20 million euros and still has a contract until 2025.
As a possible goal, the people of Munich have probably identified the Bundesliga so that Tel remains in the familiar environment. Several Bundesliga clubs are said to be interested in the center forward.
The specialist journal Werder Bremen specifically mentions this. Here the teenager could gain experience, so the wish. The green-whites may need it if Niclas Füllkrug (who is already traded in Munich) leaves the Weser club. After a year Tel should then return to FCB matured in order to be able to prove himself again.
FC Bayern must be patient with the duo
In addition to the two offensive players, the “kicker” also picks up on rumors about Marcel Sabitzer. This has already been linked to AS Roma. According to the report, the Italians have to generate income first. This could drag on for a while, they say. Nothing is likely to happen in the next two to three weeks.
The same applies to keeper Yann Sommer, who could (only) leave Munich if his possible new club, Inter Milan, has sold André Onana to ManUnited in England. Just as with Sabitzer, patience is required here.
In addition to Sommer, Alexander Nübel is also to be sold. In the last reports on the goalkeeper, there was also talk of a buyback clause that Munich could secure. A move to VfB Stuttgart that has already been discussed does not seem to come about.
