FC Bayern, rumor: First trouble between Nagelsmann and Salihamidzic

Is there trouble again between the coach and the sports director at Bayern? Nagelsmann is said to be increasingly frustrated.
There are said to be initial discrepancies between Bayern coach Julian Nagelsmann and FCB sports director Hasan Salihamidzic. That reports the sports picture. One of the points of contention is the club’s transfer policy, which had already led to the rift between Salihamidzic and Nagelsmann’s predecessor, Hansi Flick.
Nagelsmann does not like the club’s cautious approach to the transfer market. The coach has drawn up a wish list with his team, but he now has doubts as to whether it will be processed. Last weekend, Salihamidzic met the advisors from Konrad Laimer (Leipzig) and Borna Sosa (Stuttgart) in Mallorca.

Missed transfers in the past should also be an issue. Some people in the club are said to be surprised that Bayern paid five million euros in winter for Denis Zakaria, who eventually moved from Borussia Mönchengladbach to Juventus Turin, did not want to afford. Nagelsmann himself courted in vain with calls to two players during his short tenure.
In the summer of 2021 there was a phone call with Amine Adli to convince the offensive player to move to Munich. However, there was never an offer from Bayern to Toulouse, instead Adli switched to Bayer Leverkusen. Nagelsmann also contacted Nico Schlotterbeck, before signing with BVB, in order to be able to convince him of a sporting move to Munich. The national player nevertheless decided on Dortmund – also because he felt that those responsible in Munich were too hesitant to act.
The club bosses, however, see it critically that Marcel Sabitzer, of all people, was one of Nagelsmann’s desired transfers this season and did not take off at all.
According to the report, other things that Nagelsmann has been dissatisfied with so far are the unrest caused by the open contract issues at FCB and that he felt left alone on topics such as Qatar sponsorship and the vaccination debate about Joshua Kimmich.
