Barcelona’s Ousmane Dembele is according to information from the French sports newspaper L’Equipe a hot candidate to succeed Kinsgley Coman if the winger should leave Bayern in the summer. Numerous rumors have circulated about both players in the past few months.
Coman’s contract expires in 2023, should it not be possible to convince the 24-year-old at an early stage of a contract extension, he should be handed over. A second case of David Alaba, who left FCB for free after failed negotiations last summer, should be avoided by all means.
This is exactly the problem facing the Catalans’ leaders. Dembele is only tied until the end of the season and could therefore leave the club for free.
