Bayern Munich’s winger Kingsley Coman convinced the French national team 8-0 victory over Kazakhstan in an unusual role as a right-back. A position that he could take on in the future at the German record champions?

Overall, however, the response was extremely positive. In addition to team-mate Jules Kounde, who asserted that he “felt very comfortable” next to Coman, the French press also praised the Bayern player’s performance.

Doubts About Pavard Skills? Coman could take on the role permanently
So far, another Bayern player, Benjamin Pavard, had occupied the French right-back, but recently there have been reports that several France stars would doubt Pavard’s abilities.
That could now also become an issue in the club. Bayern coach Julian Nagelsmann last put Coman on the left as a counterpart to Alphonso Davies in a similar role. In addition, Pavard presented himself as extremely vulnerable to injury in the past.
