FC Bayern Munich: Corentin Tolisso apparently “advertised” at Tottenham and Inter
Tolisso has been associated with a farewell to Bavaria for some time. Now the Frenchman has been offered at two top clubs.
The advisor to Bayern Munich’s former record purchase Corentin Tolisso apparently offers his clients at two top international clubs. That reports the kicker on Thursday.
According to the report, the French international was “touted” by an advisor at Tottenham Hotspur and Inter Milan. FC Bayern meanwhile wants to carefully weigh “the economic side against the sporting side”.
Tolisso came to Bayern Munich from Olympique Lyon in the summer of 2017 for the then record fee of 41.5 million euros, but was unable to make his way into Bayern’s regular formation due to numerous serious injuries. Now, with Joshua Kimmich and Leon Goretzka, he has two competitors in the midfield center in front of his nose, who are seeded by both the record champions and the German national team, provided there are no injuries.
Due to his many injuries and his role as a high-class reservist, the 27-year-old has long been considered a sales candidate. In the current season he has only made eight missions (262 minutes) – also due to a persistent calf injury.
Bayern: Roca and Cuisance before parting?
In his second of two starting eleven to date, however, the 2018 world champion showed an appealing performance in the 5-2 victory over Union Berlin. Tolisso’s contract with the record champions expires next summer, so the winter transfer period would probably be the last opportunity for Bayern to generate a transfer for the French.
Whether FC Bayern will do without a reliable squad player in view of the tight schedule and the load management is questionable. In addition to Tolisso, only Marcel Sabitzer is currently a serious alternative to the duo Goretzka and Kimmich. Marc Roca and Michael Cuisance currently play no role at all under coach Julian Nagelsmann and are even allowed to leave the club with a suitable offer.
