Unfortunately, such a press conference is not a private club. Two coaches can’t chat undisturbed, not even when they move into the hall together as warmly as Julian Nagelsmann and Bruno Labbadia did on Saturday evening in the Stuttgart Arena. It looked a bit like one leading the other to the altar. And after the coaches had then highlighted a great commonality in their view of the game in their analysis (“I think Julian summed it up quite well”), when the last public question had been asked, it was a few meters away stage finally time for a halfway unoverheard exchange.
