FC Bayern: Lothar Matthäus with criticism of Oliver Kahn and Hasan Salihamidzic

Lothar Matthäus does not like how Oliver Kahn and Hasan Salihamidzic embody their roles at FC Bayern. Therefore he expressed criticism again.
Lothar Matthäus criticized Oliver Kahn and Hasan Salihamidzic. Among other things, the record national player drew a comparison to the time of Uli Hoeneß FC Bayern.
The first of several criticisms that Matthäus raised was the handling of Robert Lewandowski and his contract, which expires in 2023. Above all, Kahn’s interview before the game against Bayer Leverkusen annoyed Matthäus.
“Lewandowski belongs to FC Bayern. If Uli Hoeneß were still there, he would have said after the Kahn interview: ‘Hey, tomorrow morning he can immediately extend his contract in my office.’ Clearer words have been said,” said Matthäus on Sunday Sky90.
This “pushing around,” as Matthäus put it, “could cause unrest in the dressing room.” Therefore he would like “a little more emotion and more clear answers”.
In addition to Lewandowski, Manuel Neuer and Thomas Müller currently only have employment contracts that are valid until 2023. An absurdity for Matthew. “I don’t know in which direction Oliver Kahn wants to go. But the negotiations with these three players show that something has changed. In the past, there would have been clarity at the time. All three are in vain.”

But Matthäus wasn’t just upset about Oliver Kahn – the 60-year-old also tackled Hasan Salihamidzic and his transfer policy.
