After a good first half of the season, Zielinski has not been in top form in recent weeks. Most recently, the Polish international only made short appearances for the third-placed team in Serie A.

Zielinski joined Napoli from Udinese Calcio in 2016. In total, he has completed 277 competitive games for the Partenopei to date (39 goals, 33 assists).
