FC Bayern in the DFB Cup: Leon, the Libero – Sport

Many happy faces could be seen after referee Matthias Jöllenbeck ended the delayed cup game between Preußen Münster and FC Bayern. The locals were happy that they had only lost 0:4, the guests were happy with a 4:0, which could be seen as proof of their impeccable professionalism. Supporters of both parties then celebrated two very different heroes: The people of Münster celebrated a young boy who stormed onto the field and evaded the stewards with clever running routes. The Munich block, on the other hand, gave the player Mathys Tel an ovation when he gently grabbed the young intruder and spontaneously gave him his jersey. The educational benefit of this act can probably be debated, but the peace-building effect was beyond doubt: without resistance, the burglar allowed himself to be escorted back into the fan corner, presenting the white Tel jersey as loot to applause.
