After the Bielefeld game, Julian Nagelsmann spoke about squad planning – is there a renewed quarrel between the coach and the sports director?
Is there a crackling between the coach and the sports director at FC Bayern like in the Flick times? At the press conference before the game against Arminia Bielefeld, Bayern coach Julian Nagelsmann described squad planning as a “complex issue” and saw “certainly a few construction sites”.
With a squad that has played together for a long time, you have to “do something new” at some point. Then Nagelsmann also called for some risk in the transfers: “At some point you have to take a bit of a risk in the hope that more will come out at the end. At this point we are just thinking about it carefully, calculating and calculating it.”
FC Bayern: Salihamidzic doesn’t want to take any “big risks”.
