Ryan Gravenberch’s transfer to Bayern Munich is apparently getting closer. Now the Ajax professional has probably decided on the German record champions.
According to media reports, FC Bayern Munich is very interested in signing Ajax Amsterdam’s Ryan Gravenberch. Also the talent should, according to the Dutch newspaper Algemeen Dagblad want to move to the Isar.
Accordingly, the 19-year-old has already promised the German record champions for a transfer next summer. A report by telegraph According to the FCB officials around sports director Hasan Salihamidzic Gravenberch’s advisor had already made an offer that the midfielder’s side had already agreed to.
Gravenberch: FC Bayern apparently ready to pay 30 million euros
FC Bayern is also willing to pay the required transfer fee of 30 million euros. Gravenberch is still tied to Ajax until 2023, but talks about extending the contract have reportedly been sluggish so far.
Therefore, the club and the players have already agreed to leave after the current season if the transfer requirements are met by another club. With goalkeeper Andre Onana and defender Noussair Mazraoui, two players will leave the club on a free transfer this summer.
Ajax is therefore willing to give up Gravenberch so as not to lose him without severance pay. A transfer in the summer is the last serious possibility to generate a fee for the youngster.
Despite his young age, Gravenberch is an undisputed regular in coach Erik ten Hag’s team and also played a major role in qualifying for the round of 16 of the Champions League after Amsterdam won all the games in the group and beat Borussia Dortmund, among others.
At Bayern, Gravenberch could close the gap that will open with Corentin Tolisso’s likely departure. The Frenchman’s contract, which expires at the end of the season, is unlikely to be extended due to his high injury susceptibility.
